Reading: We will begin our unit on traditional tales and identify elements that make up a traditional tale.
Writing: We will continue our efforts on using details to make our writing pieces longer.
Phonics/Spelling: We will be discovering how silent e can make the long /o/ sound.
Social Studies - We will be learning about holidays such as Independence Day and Veterans Day.
Science - We will describe and sort components of soil by size, texture, and color.
*Please remember to send your child's Ipad to school every day. Also, please make sure that it is charged every evening as we do not have chargers at school for the Ipads. Thank you!!
At the CISD Board Meeting tonight (Monday, Oct. 25, 2021), the Coppell ISD Board of Trustees voted to end the prior temporary mask requirement, which was in effect from Sept. 28 to Oct. 25. Your child may continue to choose to wear a mask in school but it is not a requirement anymore.

Birthday Treats
Birthday treats brought by students must be store bought, have its ingredients listed, and run by the nurse before given to students. It is recommended that the treats are individually wrapped and nonperishable treats that are easy to pass out. 😊 Birthday treats will continue to be passed out at the end of the day to be eaten at home.
